What we do
Australia has a small number of large entertainment precincts: a licensed casino venue with restaurants, bars, live music and hotels around it. They are easy places for a night out, and it matters a lot which hotel you pick. Some are inside the complex. Some are a short walk along the river. Some look close on a map and are not.
For every stay in the guide we say how it relates to the venue, how long the walk really takes, and what the hotel itself offers. Then we put an evening together from places we could confirm.
What we are not
- We are not a booking service. We link to each hotel's own website and take no commission.
- We are not a gaming operator and we do not promote play. A venue is described as a place to eat, drink and hear live music, with its hours, admission rules and dress code.
- We do not publish scores, star ratings of our own or prices we cannot keep current.
